Good Matric Mathematics results are a key goal of our education system, but knowing the Maths is not enough. Learners’ reading and understanding is so poor that there is a serious impact on their Maths results – if they cannot read or understand the question, how can they succeed in Maths? This course offers basic and practical solutions in equipping Maths teachers with basic language techniques to assist their learners in bridging the language gap and achieving better Maths marks.
